Congratulations to Predisposed!! Philip Dorling's short film, Predisposed, has been accepted into the Woodstock Film Festival. Written by Phil Dorling and Ron Nyswaner (Philadelphia, The Painted Veil), the film stars Melissa Leo & Ethan Downing. Christy Lee Hughes plays the role of Janice, the drug dealer's girlfriend. Below is a note from the director about the film.
"Hello cast, crew, and friends of Predisposed!!! This is Philip here. I just wanted to tell everyone the great news that our film "Predisposed" has been accepted to the Woodstock Film Festival and will be premiering there in October. I am so thankful for everyone's hard work, contributions, and insight. I feel that we have made a great little film and it could not have been done without everyones help. The hope is that Predisposed can get around the festival circuit and gain some attention. The process of completing this film has been a great learning experience and also a great personal experience. I am grateful to have worked with so many new and interesting people, and also make some close friends in the process. I just want to thank everyone sincerely from the bottom of my heart. This film held true to what I had invisioned from the start, and you guys made it happen. You all have my respect and admiration.
So look out for Predisposed in The Woodstock Film Festival, week of Oct. 1-5. Hope to see you there.
