Christy Lee Hughes won the Critic's Choice Award for Best Actress at the 2007 Edwood Film Festival. Hughes played Anna in the film, Amerikan Partizan, which written and directed by Tobias Seamon. Amerikan Partizan is a dark comedy about a group of disgruntled Americans who attempt to start a revolution by setting up camp in a mall parking lot. Audience reviews compared the comedy in the film to the style of Christopher Guest. The film also took home the Critic's Choice Award for Best Microsode that evening.
